The last Franks Wasted Wednesday’s drew a full, enthusiastic house! The night started with entrees being wizzed to all the full tables, with vintage records providing some very groovy ambience. Guests were seated in small groups in the main room, squeezed onto the bar and spread all the way outside around the cosy fire! The vibe was warm and fun with lots of groups meeting and chatting about food, and ways to stop wasting it!
By the time mains started there was not a single seat left free, and our hungry patrons gobbled up every last rice cake! The incredibly talented Tim Winterflood started up some tunes just as desserts went out, and provided a sweet mix of covers and original songs to wrap up the evening with! To top it off, there was a gorgeous buffet of reduced produce and bread for our food waste warriors to take home and make into something delish.
